Hello!

Very happy to present the first pictures of my sixth generation cinnamon carrier kitten, a beautiful lilac van female. Sire is a blue smoke/white (DNA tested cinnamon carrier, fifth generation), Dam is a lilac tabby/white. Being a dilute color it's hard to be sure from pictures (kitty is with my sister, not with me), but it looks to me like it could be a smoke color, not a tabby. By the genetics of Chocolate/Cinnamon genes, this kitty must carry cinnamon, that is: got one chocolate gene from mom, and one cinnamon gene from dad ( b bl); cinnamon is recesive to chocolate, thus you get a visual lilac, as both parents are dilute as well.

So, it's almost here, the new "red" and "pink" (cinnamon & fawn) colors in Persian cats are one step closer :-)

Cheers!
