Why would anyone possibly want to start a breed that is a COMPLETE mimic of another? No registry in the world - of any animals - allows for one breed to completely mimic another.
If you want to breed cats that look like Persians - then breed Persians. If you want to breed cats that look like Persians but have short hair - then breed Exotic Shorthairs.
