[PER] Behavioral issues

I was wondering if any of you have ever had to put a cat on any type of medication prescribed by your vet for behavioral issues??  I would like to know what type of issues the cat may have had and what medication was used.  I have an issues with one of my studs and my vet has mentioned a medication called Elavil.  The only time I have ever had to use a medication for an unusual reason was when a cat wasn't eating good and she put him on valium, which, oddly enough, is used to stimulate their appetites.  It did work and the cat started eating and gaining weight.  This situation is different.  Please e-mail me privately or on the list if anyone can offer any suggestions or things you might have tried in the past.

Thank you very much.
