[PER] Rumor control

 

I have heard through the Cat Fancy grapevine that I am going out of cats.  I just wanted to set the record straight.  This could not be further from the truth.  I am cutting back on the amount of cats that I will keep for breeding and the amount of litters that I will be having, but I am not going out of cats and I am going to continue to breed Himalayans and Himalayans only, specializing in chocolate points and lynx points in most color variations, striving to breed according to CFA breed standards to achieve healthy, beautiful and well socialized kittens.  I was a bit surprised when I heard this news, but not completely, since we have all heard other much more serious rumors that have not been true.  The majority of my kittens will be sold to wonderful, forever pet homes, with the exception of a few that will be sold to select breeders only.  I can certainly understand why so many people are getting out of cats and not breeding anymore, but these beautiful creatures are in my blood, they are in my heart and soul and I could never give them up completely.  I just need to cut back due to health issues and the fact that I will be relocating to Arizona when the economy and real estate market are better.  My website will be completely updated as soon as I am able to do so, to reflect the current status of my cattery and the cats that I have for breeding.   I hope this clarifies the rumors.  If anyone has any questions, they can e-mail me directly.  Thank you and I wish you all the best with your beautiful cats and kittens.   Joan Miles, CFA-Registered Breeder Angel Paws Himalayans Richmond, VA  (USA) PKD DNA Negative Cattery Member, Atlantic Himalayan Breeder's Club Tel.
