Many years ago, when the ringworm vaccine first came out, a friend who lives in the south decided to try it.  She said not only did all the cats get ringworm, but all the people in the house got it, too.

Can anyone please provide me with info regarding Ringowrm vaccines?

I am small hobby breeder of Persian/Exotic.  We have CLOSED cattery - NOT
offering any stud services or boarding.  But we do enjoy showing our cats a few
times a year.
We always take the usual precautions with cats before and after shows (Malased
and isolation) but exposure to ringworm spores is always a worry....

I am considering administering the Ringworm vaccine as a preventative measure.

To those who have had experience with this vaccine ........

1.  Does it actually work in preventing ringworm?

2. How effective is it??
