Hi Listers,

This is a very Interesting Tread,

I have narly the same problem with my Wirehairs. By CFA I am not able to show the Straight hair, this means cats they don't get the wirey coat, but as well they look like the American shorthairs, and I can show them by Tica as well as a Shorthair, for CFA they are pets.

But I can tell you, that here in Germany, in all traditional catclubs, and also in Tica can shown ELH as a Persian.

And they are pedigreed only as a "persian" and I know that many many breeders, wich have Persians and Exotics, will be able, and they did, I know a lot of them, to make an ELH into a Persian . This is very easy, and nobody can be check this out easily.

So are you all sure, that you have a PURE Cat? No, you cant.

And so I think, nobody can say, that his/hers "Pure Persians" are truly a pure Persians.

Because as someone of you say, it is a diffrence from price, and some people they

Are don't be happy to sell a ELH, when he can sell a Persians.

Let me tell you, I don't breed exotics, long years, because this reason, I don't want to sell pets that are showable.

So I stop breeding.
